Hello,grown up in a small town called "WERTH", I discovered my "love" for the Volleyball game, especially for Beach-Volleyball! No wonder that I always wanted to travel to California where Beach-Volleyball started in the early 1920st. My dream comes true while doing an internship at the IBM Silicon Valley Laboratory in San Jose! This gave me also a chance to travel around and to explore mother nature (e.g. the Arches National Park in Utah)!
As a software engineer I would like to share my experiences - mainly with J2EE. Focusing on the Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) technology, I had a chance to do some research work and apply this knowledge in "real" business applications, e.g. my diploma thesis was about benchmarking different EJB Server.
The intension of this homepage is to show you that it is possible to do both - working and doing sports. Keep in mind, life is more then just work!! So there is a way to combine work and competitive sport. However, this requires quite a lot of self-discipline, but I encourage you not to give up ;-) You will find out that it is worth to do it! You will have even a benefit at work. The social life is getting more and more important in business. And therefore there is no better way of learning this by playing a team sport - like Volleyball ...
