  • Developing a relational database system, called “DB2 Everyplace” for Palm OS or Windows CE that can synchronize the data with other DB2 databases anywhere in your enterprise
  • Palm OS and Windows CE programming, 
  • Developing a JDBC Driver prototype for “DB2 Everyplace” on the EPOC platform 
  • Installation program for “DB2 Everyplace”

AWARDS RECEIVED
 

  • "SUN Certified JAVA Programmer 1.4" in 2004
  • For the outstanding work done in the project "Rating - Basel II", our team has been honored by the company Bank-Verlag/Germany in 2003.
  • In 2001 I received certification for my diploma thesis "Benchmarking Application Servers for Enterprise JavaBeans with the TPC-W Benchmark" on the Informatiktage 2001.
  • For my internship abroad I received the “Siemens - prize” in 2000. Each year the best internship at our University of Applied Sciences will be honored by the company “Siemens”.
  • In 1999 the DB2 Everyplace team received the “STL’s Team Leadership Award”. This internal IBM award is for outstanding work at the Silicon Valley Laboratory (San Jose, CA).
  • I received the “Karl-Holstein-prize” in 1997 for my apprenticeship. Every year, the North - Rhine Westphalia Chambers of Industry and Commerce honor the best national examinee at the final examinations.

ACTIVITIES
 

Many years of competitive sports. Playing Volleyball at several national and international clubs in the highest and second highest Volleyball league. Furthermore, playing in the National Volleyball University team and taking part at the “Universiade 1997” in Sicily/Italy. Member of the National Military Volleyball team 1993 for the European championship in Germany and the world championship in Bulgaria.

Speaker on conferences about "Benchmarking Application Servers for Enterprise JavaBeans with the TPC-W Benchmark" - "Informatiktage 2001" in Bad Schussenried and "BEA University-Industry Cooperation Congress" in Frankfurt.
